EDA Chairman owelcomes Delegation from the American Accreditation Organization to Enhance Cooperation in Quality and Accreditation
Dr. Ali Al-Ghamrawy, Chairman of the Egyptian Drug Authority, received a delegation from the Accreditation Commission for Health Care (ACHC), headed by Dr. Abdullah bin Arshid, Regional Manager for the Gulf and Middle East, in a visit aimed at strengthening cooperation and exchanging expertise in the fields of quality and accreditation, in accordance with the best international practices and standards, in the presence of several EDA senior officials.
The meeting reviewed the organization’s role in accrediting healthcare facilities and pharmacies, in addition to discussing the mechanisms and procedures for granting accreditation. It also highlighted the requirements of quality, safety, and compliance with relevant international standards.
The meeting further included an exchange of perspectives on global best practices in developing pharmaceutical services and enhancing quality systems, contributing to supporting the Egyptian Drug Authority’s efforts to improve service levels and ensure the highest standards of efficiency and quality.
