The Center for Continuous Professional Development (CPD) was established on October 27, 2020.

Key Beneficiary Groups of CPD Training Programs
- Internal Training: Targets employees of the Egyptian Drug Authority (EDA) to strengthen their professional and scientific competencies across various fields of work.
- External Training: Offers training programs to all stakeholders, including pharmacists, healthcare providers, regulatory bodies; industry representatives, professionals working in biopharmaceutical manufacturing, and researchers—aimed at enhancing their skills in professional, scientific, and applied fields.
- Regional and International Training: Provides training programs to stakeholders from Low- and Middle-Income Countries (LMICs), with a special focus on countries in the Middle East, Mediterranean, and African regions. These programs support efforts to improve access to vaccines and other biological products, and help build local bio-manufacturing industries in those areas.
Center Activities
Coordination and Implementation of Training Programs: Organizing and delivering training programs, workshops, and seminars (in-person, hybrid, and online) for healthcare professionals both internally and externally.
Training Effectiveness Evaluation: Managing the evaluation process to ensure training objectives are achieved and participant performance is enhanced.
Collaboration with Academic Institutions: Partnering with academic institutions and stakeholders in the pharmaceutical industry to develop programs that meet professional and scientific needs.
Collaboration with International Organizations: Working with organizations such as WHO and ICH, as well as international regulatory bodies like PMDA and EMA.
Support for National Regulatory Authorities (NRAs): Providing tailored training programs based on their specific needs.
Participation in International Conferences: Contributing to global pharmaceutical events such as DIA MENA 2024 workshops.
Awareness Activities: Conducting awareness campaigns to promote the importance of continuous professional development among healthcare professionals.
Internship Training Programs: Delivering training programs for the mandatory internship year through supervision, coordination, and collaboration with training providers.

Please register using the designated form and review the instructions, then proceed to the CPD Center headquarters in El-Manyal for payment.
(Note: Form submission expresses interest only. Attendance is confirmed after payment. Priority is given based on payment order. Registration closes once capacity is reached.)
Is affiliation with an organization required to register?
No, individuals can register as personal trainees without being affiliated with a company.
(Note: Individual payments must be made at the EDA headquarters in El-Manial. Online payment is currently available only for companies.)
Is online payment available?
Online payment is currently available for companies only via the EDA e-payment system using assigned credentials.
Select the service provider → “General Departments directly affiliated to the Authority’s Chairman” → CPD Center → Choose the training program → Complete payment.
How can I obtain certificates?
A soft copy is sent via email within two working days after completing the training.
A hard copy can be collected from the implementing department after two weeks.
