Monthly Summary of Training Programs Conducted by the Egyptian Drug Authority (EDA)
The Egyptian Drug Authority announced the completion of several specialized training programs and workshops, including:
• A specialized training program on Biocompatibility of Medical Devices in accordance with ISO 10993 standards.
• A training program on Scientific Integrity and Strategic Inspiration in Diabetes Promotion.
• A training program on using Microsoft 365 Copilot to support digital transformation.
• A workshop on the rules and procedures governing export approvals and manufacturing for export.
• A training program on manufacturing processes of active pharmaceutical ingredients (APIs) and plasma fractionation.
• A specialized program on enhancing medical device vigilance performance through the application of ISO 9001 requirements.
• A workshop on the third edition of the regulatory guideline for evaluating analytical files of human medicinal products.
These programs were implemented as part of EDA’s commitment to developing human resources in the pharmaceutical sector through high-quality training programs designed by the Continuing Professional Development Center, strengthening technical support and communication with industry partners, promoting institutional excellence, and enhancing pharmaceutical awareness.
A total of 256 trainees from various stakeholders in the pharmaceutical sector participated in these programs and workshops.
This comes within EDA’s ambitious plan to enhance the professional performance of pharmaceutical sector personnel, keep pace with latest developments, build effective human capacities, support institutional excellence, and strengthen cooperation with the private sector in line with Egypt Vision 2030 for sustainable development
