Egyptian Drug Authority Discusses Cooperation Prospects with Cleopatra Hospitals to Enhance Quality of Medical Services
Dr. Ali Al-Ghamrawy, Chairman of the Egyptian Drug Authority, held a meeting with Dr. Ahmed Ezz Eldin, CEO and Managing Director of the Cleopatra Hospitals Group, and several representatives from the Group, to discuss ways to enhance strategic cooperation and develop the medical services system to ensure excellence and distinguished healthcare.
The meeting addressed enhancing strategic cooperation and developing the medical services system, focusing on the expansion of specialized disciplines, upgrading infrastructure, adopting the latest medical technologies, and ensuring the hospitals' adherence to the highest global quality standards in pharmaceutical management.
Furthermore, the integrated capabilities of Cleopatra Hospitals' pharmacies were reviewed, with an emphasis on the supply system that ensures the availability of essential and specialized pharmaceutical products and the application of the highest standards of pharmaceutical practice and product safety.
Discussions also touched upon exploring avenues for strategic partnerships with various entities, including designing specialized healthcare programs for employees in different sectors, and providing comprehensive medical service packages that include periodic checkups and advanced therapeutic care, thereby enhancing the efficiency and quality of the healthcare system and serving public health.
During the meeting, Dr. Ali Al-Ghamrawy affirmed that the Authority gives paramount importance to enhancing strategic partnerships with leading medical institutions, stressing that cooperation with Cleopatra Hospitals comes within the framework of national efforts to develop the quality of health services and raise the level of care provided to patients.
He added that the Authority works to provide all technical and regulatory support to ensure the application of the highest standards of pharmaceutical products safety and achieve integration between the medical and pharmaceutical sectors, which serves the health of citizens and enhances the efficiency of the healthcare system.
