The Egyptian Drug Authority (EDA) participated in the scientific day organized by the Department of Microbiology, Faculty of Pharmacy at the Egyptian-Chinese University regarding the use of antimicrobials and the risks associated with the emergence of resistant strains.

During the event, EDA's team presented the activities carried out by the Egyptian Drug Authority and its publications related to antimicrobials, as well as the efforts exerted in raising community awareness about the use of antimicrobials and reducing the emergence of resistant strains. In addition to participating in raising awareness and holding competitions among students.

The scientific day witnessed great interaction from the Egyptian-Chinese University students with competitions and educational games held by the EDA team, as well as EDA's booth that was held on the sidelines of the day and displayed awareness tools such as educational cards and awareness messages, about the importance of the rational use of antimicrobials.

This came within the framework of the Egyptian Drug Authority's keenness to strengthen cooperation with Egyptian universities and to share the activities and awareness publications carried out by the Authority, as well as raising community awareness about the use of antimicrobials."
