The Egyptian Drug Authority (EDA) participated in the annual educational conference organized by the Faculty of Pharmacy at October 6 University, held under the theme: “From Pharmacy to Community with AI.”

The conference featured scientific discussions and lectures addressing the latest developments in modern pharmaceutical sciences, the role of artificial intelligence in enhancing and advancing pharmacy practices, as well as strategies to prepare pharmacy graduates to meet the evolving needs of the labor market.

During the participation of the Egyptian Drug Authority, the pivotal role played by the Central Administration of Pharmaceutical Care and the achievements of the General Administration of Pharmaceutical Practice were highlighted. The presentation also emphasized the contribution of artificial intelligence technologies in achieving the objectives of developing pharmaceutical practices and promoting the rational use of medicines. These efforts contribute to improving and sustaining pharmaceutical development and services nationwide, ensuring the highest standards of pharmaceutical care and patient safety.

This participation comes within the framework of the EDA’s ongoing efforts to enhance the quality of pharmaceutical services and strengthen the capabilities of Egyptian pharmacists. It also reflects the integration of efforts among state institutions towards a comprehensive approach aimed at promoting rational pharmaceutical and medical practices, and fostering the exchange of knowledge and expertise among healthcare professionals across the Arab Republic of Egypt.
