To Discuss Enhancing Egyptian-Turkish Pharmaceutical Relations Chairman of the Egyptian Drug Authority Discusses Coordinating Joint Efforts with Egypt's Ambassador to Turkey
Dr. Ali Al-Ghamrawy, Chairman of the Egyptian Drug Authority, held a virtual meeting with Ambassador Amr Al-Hamamy, Ambassador of the Arab Republic of Egypt to Turkey, to discuss ways to enhance bilateral cooperation between the two countries in the field of pharmaceutical industries.
The meeting comes within the framework of the Arab Republic of Egypt's keenness to strengthen bilateral relations between Egypt and Turkey, and to open new horizons for joint cooperation in vital sectors.
During the meeting, the two sides discussed mechanisms of cooperation between the Egyptian Drug Authority and its Turkish counterpart, and the discussions included key topics such as exchanging expertise in the field of pharmaceutical industries.
Opportunities to support the entry of Egyptian pharmaceutical products into the Turkish market were also reviewed, as well as benefiting from Egypt's strategic location as a gateway for Turkish products to African and European markets.
The Egyptian ambassador stressed the importance of partnership in supporting joint efforts to enhance the pharmaceutical industry, praising the great potential offered by cooperation between the two countries.
The Chairman of the Egyptian Drug Authority expressed his aspiration to continue coordination with the Turkish side to achieve the common goals of the two countries, and praised the support provided by the Egyptian embassy and His Excellency the Egyptian Ambassador to the Republic of Turkey.
The meeting was attended by Dr. Tamer El-Hosiny, Vice President of the Authority, Counselor Dr. Mohamed El-Demerdash, Vice President of the State Council and Legal Advisor to the Authority, Dr. Amany Gawdat, Associate to the EDA Chairman and Supervisor of the Central Administration of the Chairman Office, and Dr. Amira Mahgoub, Head of the Central Administration of Operations, and Dr. Osama Hatem, Associate to the EDA Chairman for Policy and International Cooperation and Supervisor of the Central Administration of Pharmaceutical Policies and Market Access,.
This came within the framework of the Authority's ongoing efforts to enhance cooperation with all countries; based on its regional leadership, and in support of efforts to achieve the penetration of Egyptian pharmaceutical products into international markets.
