The Egyptian Drug Authority (EDA) has launched the Pharmaceutical Care Initiative in Pharmacy Practice and Drug Utilization through the establishment of the Experience Exchange Center.

The Experience Exchange Center aims to create active channels for exchanging knowledge and expertise among institutions affiliated with various healthcare authorities. This is designed to encourage correct medication practices and achieve continuous professional development based on a practice-led approach. The center serves as a nucleus for building an integrated pharmacy community founded on sustainable learning and the exchange of insights.

This is accomplished by participating in scientific days organized by the EDA, presenting short educational case studies derived from real-world practical experiences, and showcasing documented clinical pharmacy interventions backed by scientific references.

A select group of pharmacists working in leading healthcare institutions in Egypt participate in these activities. Physicians may also be invited to join scientific discussions, aiming to elevate the level of pharmacy services through a holistic approach that enables the exchange of expertise across all specialties of pharmacy practices.
