Considering the presidential directives emphasizing the necessity of providing a strategic stock of medicines and medical supplies and working toward the localization of important and emerging industries in this sector, the Authority has taken serious steps toward achieving drug safety, localizing modern pharmaceutical industries, and enhancing the global competitiveness of Egyptian pharmaceutical products and medical supplies.
This is accomplished by providing all forms of technical and procedural support by specialists at the Egyptian Drug Authority to support the registration and localization of pharmaceutical products and important medical supplies. This enables the Egyptian state to possess the capability to localize strategic industries of therapeutic importance to Egyptian patients, which in turn helps reduce import burdens, strengthens and balances the national economy, and opens new opportunities for export.

The Authority announces the availability of an Investor Support Service through the Investment Support and Industry Localization Department, which includes:
- Clarifying the procedures required to establish investment projects.
- Providing a comprehensive roadmap for investors and the expected implementation timeline.
- Offering a list of priority items for localization.
- Assisting investors in obtaining the necessary information to prepare feasibility studies.
- Coordinating with relevant departments within the Authority to complete all required procedures.
