The Egyptian Drug Authority (EDA) convened the fourth periodic meeting dedicated to the development of the Egyptian Pharmacopoeia. The meeting was chaired by Dr. Ayman El-Khatib, Vice President of the Egyptian Drug Authority and Chairman of the Permanent Committee for the Drafting of the Egyptian Pharmacopoeia, and was held at the Authority's headquarters in Agouza. 

Dr. Ayman El-Khatib emphasized that the meeting highlighted the importance of making the Egyptian Pharmacopoeia available in a digital format through the official website of the Egyptian Drug Authority upon completion of its development. This approach is consistent with global trends and is intended to maximize the benefits derived by professionals working within the pharmaceutical sector from this scientific and regulatory reference governing medicinal products and pharmaceutical preparations. 

During the meeting, participants reviewed fully developed monograph models prepared in the Common Technical Document (CTD) format by representatives of the various working groups. These included proposed monographs for active pharmaceutical ingredients as well as finished pharmaceutical products across different therapeutic and scientific categories.
