The Egyptian Drug Authority announces the launch of the 5th edition of the Africa Health ExCon medical exhibition and conference, scheduled to take place from June 15 to 18, 2026, with the Authority participating as an official partner alongside the Egyptian Authority for Unified Procurement, Medical Supply, and the Management of Medical Technology, under the patronage of His Excellency President Abdel Fattah El-Sisi. The event is set to be held at the Egypt International Exhibition Center in Cairo, within the framework of supporting regional cooperation and strengthening Egypt’s position as a regional and continental hub for innovation and trade exchange in the healthcare sector.
The exhibition and conference will be held over an area exceeding 60,000 square meters, featuring an integrated program of specialized scientific conferences, alongside continuing medical education programs tailored for healthcare professionals, with a focus on the most prominent issues and emerging trends in the medical field across the African continent.
The conference aims to support efforts to develop healthcare systems across Africa and enhance cooperation and knowledge exchange among various healthcare stakeholders. This aligns with achieving Sustainable Development Goal 3 (Good Health and Well-being) under Egypt Vision 2030, and within the framework of Egypt’s efforts to achieve Universal Health Coverage, ensuring access to essential healthcare services, safe and effective medicines, and vaccines in accordance with the highest global standards. It also supports the localization of pharmaceutical manufacturing and advances the objectives of Africa Agenda 2063, which focuses on increasing investments in the healthcare sector across the continent.
The conference also serves as an annual platform that brings together healthcare officials, manufacturers, agents, distributors, and healthcare service providers from around the world under one roof, contributing to strengthening opportunities for collaboration, knowledge exchange, and the establishment of strategic partnerships that support the development of the healthcare sector.
