Egyptian Drug Authority Chairman Meets with UK Embassy Trade Policy Officials and Deputy Trade Commissioner for Africa
Dr. Ali Al-Ghamrawi, Chairman of the Egyptian Drug Authority, met with the Deputy Trade Policy Commissioner of the British Embassy in Cairo, trade policy officials from the British Embassy in Egypt, and the Deputy Trade Commissioner for Africa.
The meeting discussed ways of cooperation with the British Embassy to provide training programs for the Egyptian Drug Authority's staff, coordinate the travel of some of the Egyptian Drug Authority's staff to receive training programs in Britain, discuss ways of cooperation with Britain in the pharmaceutical sector, and the challenges facing British companies operating in Egypt to support and encourage their investment in Egypt, and introduce new drugs to the Egyptian market.
For his part, the Chairman of the Egyptian Drug Authority stressed the importance of cooperation with the British side to support investment in Egypt, especially in the field of the pharmaceutical industry, and stressed the importance of enhancing the efficiency of human resources, raising the capabilities of the Egyptian Drug Authority's staff, and exchanging expertise with the British side in all areas related to regulatory work.
This comes within the framework of cooperation and continuous coordination with various entities to develop human resources, raise the efficiency of employees, and work to stimulate investment in Egypt, and the Egyptian Drug Authority's continuous awareness to improve the future of medicine in Egypt."
